Position: Sales & Marketing Intern for exciting Art business

Where: Kensington Olympia, London

Remuneration: £1300 - Graduate Internship Scheme, 6 weeks

This scheme only applies to UK graduates from the past 2 years       

Starting: Sept 2010

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Role

·       To sell & market CAW’s portfolio of artists and services

·       To build your own sales team and manage them for future residual income

About You

·       Passion & Drive: you should be excited about new sales opportunities and use art to achieve your own and CAW’s objectives.

·       Innovative & Dynamic: you should be able to create relevant sales strategies to develop new business as well as deliver them.

·       Tactful: you should be able to effectively communicate to others of CAW’s product and value offering by using a consultative manner that builds healthy relationships with clients.

·       Pro-Active: you already have or can establish a portfolio of existing clients and identify opportunities for future growth within your community or network of contacts.

 
Desired Skills & Knowledge 

·       Comfortable working with a wide range of clients

·       Ability to work solo or within a team.

·       Good verbal communication and managing internal & external relationships.

·       An understanding of the financial & art markets, trends and current investment options are beneficial, although training is provided.

CAW Seeks Intern

Position: Design & Communications Intern for exciting Art business

Remuneration: Full time 3 month internship [expenses only] with option to win employment contract.
Starting: August 2010

The successful applicant will be providing design solutions; marketing and curatorial support on a wide range of live projects for our roster of UK based artists and photographers.

Responsibilities:


• Create and maintain social media marketing strategies for CAW
• Design online exhibition invites, newsletters and related marketing material
• Support Art Liaisons with research, online marketing and admin tasks
• Use social media to promote our monthly pop-up shows and develop a growing database of
   prospective clients
• Co-produce company promo videos for online distribution



Key Skills:
All candidates should possess the following:


• Strong creative design skills (both Mac & PC)
• Have your own laptop
• Good command of English (both spoken & written)
• Thorough understanding of social media marketing and implementing them
• Good knowledge of DTP and web design solutions
• Printing experience
• A portfolio of work that is viewable online is desirable
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Proactive
• Highly Organized with excellent attention to detail
• Able and willing to work under pressure
• Love of the arts
